When it comes to building a village or a district, I see a kind of unhealthy competition among clients. The building has to look like a palace, it has to be magnificent, with Italian marble, Dubai tiles, Chinese lights, and if possible, the tendency to wrap the house with diamonds and jewels is like noticing. It is like wanting to buy the biggest cow in the sacrificial market. During the time of the kings, the Mughal period, and the zamindars, to separate the king from the people, such high pediments (double-pitched roofs that look like a king's house), designed balconies, and unnecessary columns with flowers and vines were given.

As if a beautiful building means a palace!!! But now we live in democracy - everyone is equal. We forget that to live in a house, it is not necessary to have the Taj Mahal from the outside, it is not necessary to have Ahsan Manzil, you do not need to live in Lalbagh Fort. You will be inside a house, the interior plan, the environment is neat, natural light and airy is more important. The show-off tendency to show people, the peace inside the house actually evaporates. Colorful, expensive shiny foreign tiles, flower vine designs, fake roofs do not mean beautiful. The one that is pleasant to live in, the light and air penetrate more, the general decoration is beautiful.

Our house should be suitable for the tropical weather of Bangladesh. The front garden, open courtyard and veranda are the entry to the house. Whether the house is big or small, it should be modern, simple, and the room layout should be flexible.
