Hello beautiful foodies! Chicken Imbutido is a filipino-style meatloaf made from ground chicken breast mixed with red pepper, carrots, mushroom season with salt and ground black pepper.
Imbutido is a Filipino favourite commonly served in special occasions or even in a daily meal plan.
Making this dish in a batch, saves me time & idea for my meal plan this week. It is ready at anytime and delicious.
Today I am going to share how I prepare my chicken Imbutido. So let's get started.
Ingredients:
Chicken breast 1kg
Onion mince 1 big
Garlic 5 cloves finely chopped
Red pepper chopped very small cubes
Carrots chopped very small cubes
Mushroom (optional) as needed
Cheese 100 grms. (mozzarella)
Raisins a handful
Eggs 2pcs.
Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
Salt & pepper as per taste
Lemon juice sprinkle
Methods:
Prepare and chopped finely vegetables.
Add all the veggies and egg together in the ground chicken
Mix by your hand
Add in bread crumbs, cheese, salt, pepper and sprinkle lemon juice.
Mix together till well incorporated.
Same like this. Adjust salt & pepper as per taste.
In a foil, add in 4-5 tbspn meat mixture, shaped like a roll and wrap it with aluminium foil then seal it both side.
Same like this.
Meanwhile, boil water. Steam chicken Imbutido for 25 minutes. Cool down.
Fry chicken Imbutido
Ready to serve with rice.
It may not be perfect as it may look however it is full of flavour and delicious.
Note:
For batches you can keep it inside fridge.
When ever you need it, just do a quick fry then it's ready. (It was steam beforehand)
You may add onion leaves for extra flavour, I did not put in this recipe as I don't have onion leaves right now.
Thank you very much for dropping by!
