How to Make a Basket (DIY)

Hello lovely Friends.

Today i am very glad to show to you how to make a Basket made of rope twine and a blanket/fabric. This is easy and stylish. It adds decoration to your house.

Materials

• glue gun
• glue
• box
• rope twine
• artificial flowers for decoration (optional)
• blanket/fabric

Method

• Put Glue to the tip of the box, and stick the rope twine in it.

• continue sticking the rope twine with a glue until you reach half way through.

(Since i do not have enough rope twine, to cover it all till halfway of the box,(i used more fabric) I manage to cover only 1/4.

• cut out fabric according to the size from the sides of the box. Put Glue to the box just above the last layer of the rope twine, and stick the fabric, layering all the sides.

• put some ornaments or decoration of your choice using glue, and stick it to the front of the basket.

And there you have it. A handmade Basket.

It looks like from a boutique basket :-)

This basket functionality are endless, wether a toy box or a towel container, whatever you wish. It can also serve as a gift or you can sell it. ;-)

Making arts and crafts gives me peace and relaxation, It's one of my ways of meditation. I really love doing crafts, I find solace in it!
