I just wanted to farm the land, is it so much to ask for, to grow food on my own?

The war pigs fly over my head, I hear them, I see them, at times.
People seemingly vote for them too.
Over on blurt I am in a heated debate because one of them wants to buy a drone and give it for the war effort, meanwhile the rest of us feed and house those displaced by war, and somehow I am the bad guy, go figure.

I get it, I truly do that the TV says Ukraine this, Ukraine that, but reality is different from the TV, I have friends that have been robbed/mugged here by the invasion of migrants, people that have had their houses burgled too, but hey, shut up already, nobody wants reality do they? They want to be spoon fed a side to stick by, to support.
Yes I do help those in need that came here, no I do not help the arrogant or the pampered, I have no interest in paying for someone to have their nails painted, I do have interest in feeding those that need food.
Never let reality get in the way of a good story.

I am offering no more social commentary about what is going on as most do not want to hear it anyway, they have made up their minds based on the TV, the news or a newspaper.

I hope I find you all fit and well, I hope for a better future, maybe we do need a reset, a "build back better" But maybe we need a different script, a different logic, regurgitate and repeat is by no means working, neither is politics.

Like I said, I just want to farm my own land, restore some motorbikes, home school my daughter, live and seemingly be free in this alleged democracy of tax theft and war.

Forgive me if I seem a little abrupt, a little perturbed, even a little angry, I never wanted this war, I never wanted to see people die again for no reason, I never wanted to see a country ruined so 1 lunatic can feel empowered that fights not the war himself.

You will not find me buying weapons for either side, not taking a side neither, we are at the end of the day, no matter where we live, no matter where we are, what we own - all just people.
I think of everyone as my brother, my sister, my family, we may look different, we may not agree, but we can agree to disagree.

I do not like listening to the war pigs above my head, I do not agree with violence and death by force, I do not agree with coercion neither. Not a bomb gets dropped in my name, not a single 1.
