I stopped upgrading a few years back, I have a Nikon d5300, and if you spend time learning all the settings on one, it is as good as anything else that is new, (took me a year to work it all out on manual) More pixels and the promise of mean nothing if we do not know how to get the max out of what we have.

Or to put it another way, my daughter, 10 years young, can capture a picture as good as me with a 6k pixels camera, some change of lens, some imagination and voila, she can take a better picture. (Some times better)

New is not the be all and end all, understanding what you use means all.

At least you are willing to try, like your style for that.
