Everywhere I go I now use google maps, blutooth headphones and use reviews, so I leave a review too & the four on the left came because of it.
They loved the place and the food.
It was a birthday for 1 of them so I bought him a drink.
They are on a tight budget and 2 of them are part of the mass resignation from work brigade, they aim to never go back to the UK.
A budget is not something I had considered till I bought a box of beer (12 x 620ml) and realised I saved £1 per bottle compared to at the beach bar restaurant.
It is nice to be social and it helps keep me sane so I have decided £10 a day is all I am willing to spend which gives me 2 large beers and a meal on the beach, helps them stay open and gives me some social life.
4 nicer people it would be difficult to find. But then again they had competition.
This superb couple, she from Paris, He from Germany who live in Barcelona leave this morning, they have been an absolute pleasure to spend time with, and are 2 of the most relaxed, intelligent people you could wish to meet, I will miss them.
I might be meeting up with the lady from France in Thailand, she has my whatsapp number, and is going there with her brother while her BF goes somewhere else, I look forward to it. I would love a night out there with her brother who is 30 just to watch the girls go wild about him, I remember it well though at 56 I know my best days are over so it is not going to happen for me. (Where did the time go???)
The other 4 said they were going to move into a villa next to me today, time will tell on that 1.
I am blessed also with having these 3 for company for the last few days, she is the owner of the villas where I live, and is independently wealthy so has cost me nothing more than 2 ice-creams I bought the children last night. (Refreshing to say the least.)
I also have my American love/hate buddy I see every day, at his villa - the bad man plies me with free beer.
We agree to disagree on most things and again it is refreshing to have a different point of view, though he is wrong on most things but treats me like the son he never had.
His villa is on the beach and simply put stunningly beautiful.
We sit on that deck and drink, talk crap and abuse each other verbally.
He has this device called echo, Alexa ish and when he goes to the toilet I play Bob Marley on it via voice command, cool idea but not a thing I would want listening to me every day.
He rents rooms for B&B and it is called Bali north beach b&b.

He has 5 star reviews as it is that good as is the food and the staff are charming.
$50 a night per room with breakfast included.
Where I stay is also charming though at only £180 a month all in (no breakfast but I have a large kitchen) my place is hard to beat.
It is called surya trana villa. Sadly they have no review as yet online, I will fix that for them tonight for free.
