I set off to Singaraja via the beach road.
44km and 2 hours 6 mins google maps says. I did it in just over 1 hour.
I stopped the night at the sunrise lodge and lounge.

This was 2 days ago - I only had 2 real misses, moments where I was locked up sideways on the brakes due to other people and their bad driving.
Anyway I went there to buy pearls from the car park attendant, he doubles as a beach seller.
I parted with a few million RP and have a haul in pearls as above in the photo.
My aim is to make my 2 months here pay for themselves with goods to sell in Europe.
The return trip was much less troublesome as I came back to Amed at my leisure. 2 hours including many photo stops.
It seems hard to believe I have been here 2 months.
But I have and it draws to an end with a night out tonight with a French lady.
Not a date, just company for a night, 32 years old, and the last thing she needs is a 56 year old me.
I had company last night it seems.
They do this to Jeeps here. The front is 2 feet higher than the back.
A roundabout, puts us to shame, 3rd world hey?.....
We seem to lack imagination in Europe, whilst Asia loves culture.
Their own.........
I spent 2 days in Bangkok on Khaosan road, the noisiest road in the world, the flight alone is worthy of an article, I will oblige later today.
Now in Jomtien (Pattaya) at Frankies inn which is superb.

More on that later.
I was up till 4AM watching England beat Senegal last night.
I need a shave, a motorbike and time to eat then I will write about my journey here, it was one hell of a journey.
My last 19 days will be a blast, hope you stay tuned.
Peace and out.......
