Our society today has a way of telling us that we can do anything our way, as long as we are happy and find pleasure in them without acknowledging anybody, anywhere. Somehow , it has crept into the Church. Someone once asked a pastor "Does that man work for God or himself?" After they patiently waited for him to download them all the great and mighty things he had achieved '-because it was about I.

"Whatever" as the scripture stated means just that: whatever. In other words, there is nothing that must be done, no matter how small, in any other name or with any other purpose than the Lord Jesus Christ. Can it be said of us that all we do in our homes, in our schools and campuses, in our offices, in our leisure time, are all done in His name? Think about it.
You just turn on the television to hear a man who just helped out some poor or displaced person with some money telling the world that he has never received any assistance from any man before. He claims from his story to be self-made man who wants to give back to the poor and alleviate their woes. He is interviewed extensively and keeps taking glory to himself by explaining his philosophy of life. He forgets too quickly that "The Earth belongs to God and everything in it" ". Everytime we do things on our own and take the glory, we are by implication just telling Jesus that He has never helped us in anyway. We separate ourselves from the True vine.
Whatever we say, whatever we do , to whatever achievement we gain, we shouldn't forget the place of God in all, for it is Him who makes us prosperous. God says, there's nothing that happens, there's no one In a position , that makes it in his power but God Himself has allowed it to happened.
So let our life portray a life of humility, always giving Glory to God alone and none for ourselves. So whatever we do, in whatever we eat, in whatever we become and in whatever we achieve, Let
