Galatians 4:11,19- I fear for you that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you... My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ I formed in you
Paul certainly experienced untold hardships before he got to galatia. Having juat healed a man crippled from birth at lystra , Paul was stoned to near-death by some zealous Jews who were annoyed that Paul and Barnabas prevented them from offering sacrifice to both apostles after they healed the cripple. It was in this condition that Paul went into Derbe and later to Galatia. You can imagine how perplexed Paul was when he realized that the flock he shepherd had turned into a circus.

Ministers of the Gospel usually go through a lot to disciple their members. They give up sleep, material resources , suffer untold dangers etc. Just to ensure some Christians are established in the faith. Like Paul, certain pastors, mentors, disciplers go through the "pain of childbirth" all over again so that Christ is formed in us. These leaders who labour in love over us deserve our appreciation. As a pastor, mentor or Discipler, please do not give up on the young Christians in your care. In due season you will reap the fruit for all the hard work you consistently put in. Are you nurtured to maturity? Please disregard every wind of doctrine or vain philosophy of men by feeding on the sincere milk which is the word of God. The sacrifice of mentors deserve a good reward.
Most times as students or members or disciples, we hardly realize the pain mentors go through to impact into us all they have experienced In years through hard work and suffering. They make the path easier for us , teaching us of the constrain and the possible ways to avoid them.
Let's at all time prove that the hardwork of our mentors were not in vain. The word of the preacher at all time was able to transform us from darkness into light.
