届时，市场需要对比特币分裂出的不同货币进行重新估价，比特币市场波动性将难以预料。
比特币矿工在21号之前不会开始选择，但有些人已经在系统测试中表达了对切换至新版本的支持。在目前比特币的前70个区块中，已有82.9%的算力是支持BIP91的。如果到第336个区块的时候仍能获得总体80%的算力支持，那么BIP91就可以锁定，离激活不远了。
