Durante estos tres últimos días hemos estado disfrutando de un maravilloso retiro de jóvenes en la Iglesia "Voz de Júbilo", Ciego de Ávila. Empezamos el jueves en la tarde y noche. El lema que ha estado guiando este evento es "Cava otro pozo, y no te des por vencido".
During these last three days we have been enjoying a wonderful youth retreat at the "Voz de Júbilo" Church, Ciego de Ávila. We started on Thursday afternoon and evening. The motto that has been guiding this event is "Dig another well, and don't give up."
Este lema se ha tomado en base al pasaje bíblico Gn 26:18-33: "Y volvió a abrir Isaac los pozos de agua que habían abierto en los días de Abraham su padre, y que los filisteos habían cegado después de la muerte de Abraham; y los llamó por los nombres que su padre los había llamado. Pero cuando los siervos de Isaac cavaron en el valle, y hallaron allí un pozo de aguas vivas, los pastores de Gerar riñeron con los pastores de Isaac, diciendo: El agua es nuestra. Y ellos respondieron: Hemos visto que Jehová está contigo; y dijimos: Haya ahora juramento entre nosotros, entre tú y nosotros, y haremos pacto contigo, que no nos hagas mal, como nosotros no te hemos tocado, y como solamente te hemos hecho bien, y te enviamos en paz; tú eres ahora bendito de Jehová. Entonces él les hizo banquete, y comieron y bebieron. Y se levantaron de madrugada, y juraron el uno al otro; e Isaac los despidió, y ellos se despidieron de él en paz. En aquel día sucedió que vinieron los criados de Isaac, y le dieron nuevas acerca del pozo que habían abierto, y le dijeron: Hemos hallado agua. Y lo llamó Seba; por esta causa el nombre de aquella ciudad es Beerseba hasta este día."

And they answered, We have seen that the Lord is with you; and we said, Let there now be an oath between us, between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you, that you will do us no harm, just as we have not touched you, and as we have done only good to you, and sent you away in peace; you are now blessed of the Lord. Then he made them a feast, and they ate and drank. And they rose early in the morning, and swore one to another; and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace. On that same day it happened that Isaac's servants came, and told him about the well that they had dug, and said to him, We have found water. And he called it Shibah; therefore the name of that city is Beersheba to this day."

3- Necesitamos depender de la fuente de agua que nunca acaba y es la que sólo puedes encontrar en Cristo. Jesús dijo: Jn 4:14: "mas el que bebiere del agua que yo le daré, no tendrá sed jamás; sino que el agua que yo le daré será en él una fuente de agua que salte para vida eterna."

Jesus said: Jn 4:14: "but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life."
