For my entry into today's smartphonephotography challenge, I'm sharing a photo that I took this afternoon while putting out a little Easter snack in my apartment. As I'm sure that many of you are aware, tomorrow is Easter, and for the past few weeks my girlfriend and I have been preparing and getting into the spirit of the holiday by decorating various parts of our apartment. Today we had a few friends over to hang out and play some games with us, and we decided that a nice festive Easter treat would be these chocolate mini eggs.
For me, these have always been one candy that I've associated with Easter since I was a little kid. There are certainly a few other popular candies as well including Cadbury Creme Eggs and other small egg shaped chocolates wrapped in various colours of tinfoil. These mini eggs definitely have to be my favorite though. The smell of them is so distinct and the pastel colour palate that makes them up really suits Easter and spring-time so well.
