Went out and about to the hockey game down at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena, pretty big arena, seats about 5,500 people, I think it was a sold out crowd to see the Sarina Sting, which are an OHL hockey team, alot of the future NHLers play there, such as Steven Stamkos, Alex Galchenyuk, Jacob Chychun and a whole lot more.The team has been around for thirty years now, the teams sports the colors gold and black, same colors as the ancap flag!! They did really good last season making it to the conference finals, so there is a lot of Sarnia Sting hype these days. My seat for the game really sucked, I would have been crammed in there and the people I would have sat beside had huge legs and I didn't want to get them in and out of there seats when I wanted to get up, so I decided to walk around the hockey rink the whole game, I think next time I will get a corner seat or something.
I ended up running into the mascots, they were very busy greeting the fans, giving hugs to children and getting there photos taken.
The mascots bring such joy, excitement and a sense of wonder to the young Sarnia Sting fans!!
As you can see lots of people sitting, and it think there is people up buying beer, coffee, they even have lots of Pizza Pizzas there as well.
It is fun to watch up on the screen when they do the dance cam, the children get there ten seconds of fame. Unlike adults who are often feel self-consious or hesitant to participate unless they have "the courage in the can" children are not concerned with what others think and they are totally living in the moment,
