The Common Swift Butterfly typically refers to the butterfly species Pelopidas mathias, a widespread skipper butterfly found in Asia and parts of Africa. Small to medium-sized butterfly, with a wingspan of about 30–40 mm. Brown with small, pale, semi-transparent spots on the forewings. Pale brown with a slight greenish tinge and faint white spots.
