I love sunsets as a whole. I also love this moment when the sun is already setting below the horizon, but the last rays willfully break through, finally illuminate the details of the landscape and even become visible themselves. Especially if they pass over some pretty rock :) The main thing is to get to the right place and catch the moment.
That time I was catching the sunset in Moon Valley, Atacama Desert, Chile. In a few minutes the sun disappeared completely and it became very, very dark between these rocks and sand dunes. Many people usually leave early so as not to walk back in the dark along the paths. It makes sense, it's inconvenient to walk in the dark, but for such cases I always carry a headlamp with me when traveling :) Even if I don't shoot that day, but the place is beautiful, the sunset is impressive and I have free time, I prefer to stay and watch this natural performance.
It's better to watch the photo in high resolution.
