What I like about the quadrocopter is that it opens up completely new angles of view, including shooting abstract or almost abstract images, which are obtained from completely ordinary and familiar things that you look at from a different angle.
For example, these are simply stains of sea foam on the water, as well as shadows from it and shades of the seabed. But some of such shots I could very well hang on my wall in a frame and consider them a finished work of abstract art. Oh, of course, I鈥檓 not saying that they are masterpieces, I鈥檓 far from such immodesty, but I like them and they surprise me.
And these two photographs are examples of almost abstract images, where it鈥檚 easy to understand what is shown here: rocks, foam, waves, water, but they are still more stains and patterns than objects.
These shots were taken in South Africa, on the coast near Hermanus.
It's better to watch the photos in high resolution.
