Flower, sometimes known as a blossom, is the reproductive structure found in flowering growers. The biological function of a flower is to effect generation, usually by providing a tackle for the union of sperm with spawns. Flowers may facilitate allow selfing. Some flowers manufacture diaspores without sprinkling.
Flowers contain sporangia and are the site where gametophytes appear. Many flowers have evolved to be attractive to animals, so as to cause them to be vectors for the transfer of faring. After fertilization the ovary of the flower develops into fruit bearing corns.
