you won't believe how annoying it is being from a small Caribbean island, the moment some one knows you're caribbean the instantly ask "are you Jamaican?" DO I SOUND LIKE A JAMAICAN? Damn... this is mad annoying. ask me about where i'm from don't assume every Caribbean person is from Jamaican, there are many islands in the Caribbean, each had their own unique cultural backgrounds and story. It gets worst! people assume that we know everyone on the island because its "a small" island. Guys we live on an island not a rock. And oh yes, it is beautiful out here just like the photos but don't take my word for it, plan a vacation and visit, see how "small" the island is and learn about out St. Lucian culture and see how different it is from the Jamaican culture and life style. So next time someone tell you they are Caribbean ask where they are from so you could learn something new, there are many islands out here, no one like being labeled as someone else. if yo have never heard about the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Lucia google it and see this piece of paradise.
