Many a times we feel comfortable with someone who we believe can ease our pain and will be their when we go through tough times.
My 2 close friends. To the left my best friend.
Some peoples take a great place in our heart ina very short period of time. Such was my friend Wincy. To be frank, I do not have any contact with her since last 20 years. I tried reaching her through many sources, but in futile. I had already memtioned about her in an article, about how important her presence was to me. Born into a wealthy Anglo Indian catholic family, she had an unbelievable down to earth personality.
To highlight few of her charactes - Very calm and pleasing by nature, bold when ever necessary, happily lends all her possessions to others whenever needed, always keeps a elegant style, she is there by your side whenever in meed. One such instance was, when I had to stay late hours at college she used to be beside me. Our travelling distance was around 2 hrs.
She had a stunning personality. And most of her male friends tried to make use of this opportunity, but due to her strong nature, they stayed away from her. Being a brilliant child, she was always willing to help others and share whenever needed.
She definitely had a great impact in my life. One of the best quality I admired was her nature of giving. Though from a wealthy family, she maintained her low profile personality. She never ran from something false, until she got it right. These might seem less for others, but for me it was like learning great values in life. Whenever necessary she used to speak for us. Infact, you can call her the bold and beautiful.
A friend from my nursery, we grew up together until marriage. It was here I lost contact with her. Life is short, so in this second part of life's journey may be one day we get ro meet each other.
In the race of life, we keep losing many good friends while making new ones. And some day when we fall, it reminds us, how beautiful our yesteryears were.
