An old town where a poor priest lived with his wife, mother, and children. Every member of his family was purely religious. He prayed to the Lord with all his faith. He patiently endured all the hardships of his life. He never complained to God about his poor position.
He was straightforward and living a happy life. He wakes up every morning, takes a bath first, and then prays. When all the household chores are done, the priest goes to the temple to perform his duties. It was his daily routine. His sweet voice during prayers takes all the other devotees to heaven.
His decency, care, and sweetness all these things gave strength to the devotees who came to the temple. He offered to the poor from his daily earnings. His faith in God was as strong as stone. His generosity and calm demeanor gave him a peaceful sleep every night.
Things were going on generally in his life; one night, he saw in a dream that someone was going to reward him for his honesty. Telling him, I am with you all the time for your honesty. I always help you live in your peace, but I have to leave you for a while.
You will pray a little bigger and ask me whatever you want. After that, his dream was shattered. He immediately woke up and realized it was just a dream. Even then, he kept thinking about it. The following day he told his wife and mother about the dream.
His wife advised him to live happily physically and financially. The wife said to him that you would mention financial support in her prayer, and her mother advised her to pray for gold and wealth. The priest was a little upset when he heard this. He explained to them that we are living in peace because God is with us.
Although we lack money, there is no lack of happiness till now. There was no quarrel between us; the simple priest was hesitant about praying to God. That night he dreamed again that someone was asking him, "Tell me now what you want"?
Then the priest said in answer to this question! Would you please give us a peaceful life where we can sleep peacefully at night? There will be no trouble in my family. God loves peaceful life. In the house where there is less greed, the house is at the mercy of God.
