In grade 12 we are doing a poem" Huisie by die see" that is intertextual with the bible and the message of the poem is basically to build your house on solid rock meaning your life. A life built on the foundation of God means that you can stay standing thru any storm no matter how bad, it won't destroy you.
When everything else looks like sinking sand, remember we have a rock on which to stand that is solid rock.
Be like the wise man who builds his house on the rocks and not like the foolish man who builds his house on the sand.
The truth is that God is the rock we need in our life.
