The season change and so must we,
if we move and strive to see,
we will know what is to be.
Like a tree that's lost it's leaves,
fallen to earth that we be free.
Among the rot and decay,
a new life beckons us one day.
Winters Coming
The land itself seeks a reprieve,
from all the wants and fulfilled needs.
A short rest from all the worries,
slows us down, no big hurries.
So we wait with frozen toes,
looking forward to no more snows.
Spring we know is on the way,
I saw a robin yesterday.
