My son's karate journey started 7 years ago when he was 6 years old. He started first with kata and was on the kata team for 3 years and was very good at it.
He progressed very quickly and won medals and podiums, and he was often in first place, and I was very proud of him.
Already with an orange belt, he was defeating opponents who had a brown and black belt, and that's when the coach decided to transfer him from floor to fighting because he was too good to stay only in the floor team.
He goes to training 6 days a week, but even when he doesn't go, he wants to train at home, so me and my older son train with him, even though he's in better shape hahaha
He achieved results very quickly and could hardly wait for every training session, especially competitions that were always held in other cities and countries.
Already after 2 years of training, he was doing push-ups on three fingers without any problem, and the same in training and the coaches were amazed by his persistence and strength.
At one time, I could barely match him even though it's my job, and I work as a security guard in a hotel for years, he's still younger and now gaining strength, especially after seven years of hard training.
Now he already has a brown black belt and he has developed well both physically and mentally, and karate has changed him a lot and shaped him into a real man.
I hope that he will never give up and that he will only go further and progress, and eventually fight for the national team at major world competitions.
