Yesterday I took my weekend warrior out for some quick drive. Even though she's not in the perfect condition now, I still have to take her out every week to warm her up. Yesterday I started my car and let it idle for about 5 minutes. I can almost hear some slight misfires, really random.
The first picture is actually a video but not sure what's the reason that I upload the video here, it won't appear in Steemit. From the picture you can see the fuel pressure gauge shows 2.5 bar, actually it was supposed to be 3 bar for idling, so going to check next week.
After getting my Pizza from the nearest PizzaHut shop, I came back home and parked outside and inspect a little longer. I did not accelerate or drive it hard because I know that the fuel pressure is low, causing lean combustion in the fuel system, risking my engine's life by overheating the cylinder for being too lean due to too little fuel.
As I reached home, it shows 2 bar instead of 2.5 bar. Cold start was higher and then it got lower. Last week it was 1.5 bar, even way lower. Not sure why as it is pretty random. Going to check for the fuel system. I'm pretty sure it's not the wiring, the coils or the spark plugs anymore because all these are changed recently, even the fuel pump was changed to Walbro 255lph last year. So fuel filter is definitely my biggest bet.
