Names matter. They often say something about who we are or what we like, represent etc. The real name I wanted was ''the hand behind the curtain'' but that was too long for steemit. So I tried multiple options until it finally accepted Shadow Hand. Of course Shadowhand sounds like some kind of Bond Villain name, but I have nothing to do with any nefarious actors. Shadow Hand really means that I am the anonymous writer. Now I may choose to be anonymous or not to be anonymous but, time will tell. For privacy pseudonyms and fake names are of course preferred. I was on Steemit before but I lost my password. YES I LOST MY FUCKING PASSWORD. So there's that. But it's ok, starting over gives me a chance to do things differently(hopefully better). And I already know how Steemit works, I was away for about 3 months, not sure if there were any ground-breaking changes here in the meantime if so, I'l be glad for any infos on that.
