Photography is a very interesting area for me, because of the way the camera gives new glances to the world around us, not just to the photographer but to the viewer. I do not consider myself a photographer, but there is something about photography that fascinates me, and that something is closely linked to details.
I think the details recorded by the photographs are great ways of looking at the world around us and evaluating behaviors and occurrences that escape us on a day-to-day basis, precisely because they are so ordinarily simple. Therefore, today I would like to share with you some photographs of my own which reflect a little my way of observing this "ordinary world".
Have you ever stopped for a moment to look closely at the flowers of your backyard?
Or maybe at the way the raindrops burst when they touch something?
Have you ever looked closely at a butterfly?
Or the way your drink's bubbles always run from the bottom to the top?
Or the way your glass looks when you have a cold drink?
Most of the times we don't take the time to appreciate the tiny and simple things, and I must say that photography and video may very well be the “eyes” we lack.
