This is a very popular family style restaurant. It is clean and spacious and has been in this location for generations.
Here is the menu:
I ordered the clam chowder and it was served with a garlic bread stick. The chowder was thick and creamy with chunks of clam and potato. It was very good!
My friend had the chicken and rice soup for his appetizer. He was very pleased with it as well.
For my entree I ordered deep fried flounder with a side of macaroni and cheese. Truthfully I was almost full from that delicious clam chowder and wasn't able to finish this generous portion. But the fish was hot and cripsy and macaroni was smooth and creamy, the way that I like it.
My friend ordered trout, which is his favorite fish and it's not often that you find it on a menu around here. It was served with a side of corn and french fries. He stated that the fish was very good and the fries were crispy and well seasoned.
The meals came with a light dessert, your choice of an ice cream, pudding, or jello. I had butter pecan ice and he had rainbow sherbert. Just enough to make a nice ending to the meal.
We like this restaurant and the total bill was $23 with drinks, which is a very resonable price for this area. The service was good and waitress was very friendly and accomodating.
