Today I bring you 5 curiosities of bitcoin that I hope you enjoy.
1. Bitcoin father: The creator of bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto is a character that no one knows his identity until now. A wave of comments and a great shadow of mystery has been created from Japan to Australia and a few days ago it is said that he was in Colombia. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Economics but could not be admitted as the prize is not given to deceased or to characters whose identity can not be verified. He was awarded by The Economist newspaper in 2015 with the prize for Innovation. Some people even speculate that the name is the union of several companies SAmsung, TOSHIba, NAKAmishi, MOTOrola.
2.Bitcoin for food: The first meal bought with bitcoins, was pizza, it was paid 10 thousand BTC. It was the year 2010 and the value of BTC was 7 cents, really incredible!
3.A sports car with BTC: The first company to accept BTC to buy sports cars is Lamborghini. So to work that your car with BTC you can buy. :-)
4. Space travel with Bitcoin: Virgin Galactics accepts your bitcoins to give you a space trip, this company was created by English billionaire and investor Richard Branson who has, among other companies, an airline and consulting business.
5. Film about Bitcoin: In 2015, the DOPE film is released, which deals with various topics related to racism, bitcoin and darknet. It really is an interesting film that it is necessary to see how our perception of the world changes with technology.
