Something I've always regretted is that unfortunately I missed the entire 3DS generation completely and it hurts me because as an RPG/JRPG lover I know that this console had many hidden and some not so hidden gems. While I could easily download a 3DS emulator for the pc, I feel that somehow it missed that magic that some titles had that took advantage of certain capabilities of the console.
That's why I was very happy that a few days ago I was able to rescue a perfectly preserved and almost new 3DS, the console had a software problem and wouldn't turn on, it needed to be completely formatted and the owner in question had no interest in trying to recover it, so he offered it to me and I gladly accepted it. With a little help from the internet I was able to fix it and it was as good as new.
It is strange because in the year 2020 the 3DS stopped being produced, and although it can still be found in some stores for purchase, technically it became an "obsolete" console, however, for me who never had the opportunity to play any of its titles, having this console in my hands right now makes me feel happy because it opens the doors to a completely unknown world full of amazing games.
I still don't know which game to start with, there are so many that I feel a little bit overwhelmed, the first one that comes to my mind is Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon, as a Pokemon fan since the black and white era with the Game Boy, I feel an obligation to play this title and see what it has to offer haha.
I just wanted to share this little joy, in case you have any recommendations on any specific game I would love to read it, regards.
Algo que siempre he lamentado es que por desgracia la generación entera de la 3DS me la perdí completamente y me duele porque como amante de los RPG/JRPG sé que esta consola contó con muchas gemas ocultas y algunas no tan ocultas. Si bien fácilmente podría descargar un emulador de 3DS para la pc, siento que de alguna forma se perdía esa magia que tenían algunos títulos que aprovechaban ciertas capacidades de la consola.
Por eso me alegró mucho que hace pocos días pude rescatar una 3DS perfectamente conservada y casi nueva, la consola tenía un problema de software y no encendía, necesitaba ser formateada completamente y el dueño en cuestión no tenía interés alguno en intentar recuperarla, por lo que me la ofreció y la acepté gustosamente. Con un poco de ayuda del internet pude arreglarla y quedó como nueva.
Resulta extraño porque en el año 2020 las 3DS dejaron de producirse, y aunque aún pueda encontrarse en algunos establecimientos para su compra, técnicamente pasó a ser una consola “obsoleta”, sin embargo, para mí que nunca tuve la oportunidad de jugar alguno de sus títulos, el tener esta consola en mis manos ahora mismo me hace sentir feliz porque me abre las puertas a un mundo completamente desconocido repleto de juegos increíbles.
Aun no sé por qué juego comenzar, hay tantos que me siento un poco brumado, el primero que se viene a mi mente es Pokemon Ultra Sol/Luna, como fanático de Pokemon desde la era en blanco y negro con las Game Boy, siento una obligación por jugar a este título y ver que tiene que ofrecer jajá.
