Christmas is my favorite time of the year thanks to all the good memories I had as a child, I love that atmosphere that is created both at home and outside, and of course, much of those memories I associate directly to all those gifts I received at the time. I still remember the excitement of receiving many of my first consoles, from the GameBoy through the PlayStation 1 and ending with the PlayStation 4, there were many times that my eyes were filled with illusion when I saw these boxes, the Xbox, the Wii, the Nintendo DS, the Gamecube, all of them have been important in my life.
And although I have spent most of my life surrounded by video game consoles, there is something that I have never had, mostly because at the time I was not interested in it. I'm talking about a PC, a good gamer PC capable of running the entire catalog of video games available on the market. I always considered myself a console guy, personally I liked to play lying on the couch or in bed without much concern, I felt that playing on PC was not the same and that's why I never had interest in one.
However, for some time now I have been itching to play on PC, to live that experience, taking into account that I have played all my life on consoles, I guess the change would be quite appreciable, besides being able to access certain titles that have a better performance on a computer. And considering that the PC I currently use is quite obsolete in all aspects and has no room for improvement, when I think of a Christmas wish, the only thing that comes to my mind is to be able to build a good PC for gaming.
And I am happy to say that little by little it is becoming a reality, thanks to a lot of effort, work and personal dedication, most likely that in a while this illusion will no longer be just a wish and will become part of my life. And although I still have a long way to go, I am getting closer and closer to that goal, and that is something that makes me very happy.
To finish, I just want to wish a very merry Christmas to all the Hive Gaming community, it's my first Christmas here and during all the way of this year I learned many things, I had a lot of fun writing and sharing my experiences with all of you, I'm sure that next year will be much better. On the other hand, I'm not very good at Photoshop, but I wanted this post to have something special, so I leave you a kind of Christmas card from me haha.

La navidad es mi época favorita del año gracias a todos los buenos recuerdos que pasé de niño, me encanta ese ambiente que se crea tanto en el hogar como fuera de él, y por supuesto, gran parte de esos recuerdos los asocio directamente a todos esos regalos que recibí en su momento. Aún recuerdo la emoción de recibir muchas de mis primeras consolas, desde la GameBoy pasando por la PlayStation 1 y terminando en la PlayStation 4, fueros muchas veces que mis ojos se llenaron de ilusión al ver estas cajas, la Xbox, la Wii, la Nintendo DS, la Gamecube, todas ellas han sido importantes en mi vida.
Y aunque he pasado la mayor parte de mi vida rodeado de consolas de videojuegos, hay algo que nunca he tenido, más que nada porque en su momento no me interesé por ello. Me refiero a una PC, una buena PC gamer capaz de mover todo el catálogo de videojuegos disponible en el mercado. Siempre me consideré un chico de consolas, personalmente me gustaba jugar acostado en el sofá o en la cama sin mucha preocupación, sentía que jugar en PC no era lo mismo y es por esto que nunca tuve interés en una.
Sin embargo, desde hace un tiempo me ha estado picando el gusanillo de jugar en PC, de vivir esa experiencia, teniendo en cuenta que he jugado toda mi vida en consolas, supongo que el cambio sería bastante apreciable, además de poder acceder a ciertos títulos que tienen un mejor desempeño en un ordenador. Y teniendo en cuenta que la PC que uso actualmente está bastante obsoleta en todos los aspectos y no tiene margen de mejora, cuando pienso en un deseo navideño solo se me viene a la cabeza el poder armar una buena PC para jugar.
Y me alegra poder decir que poco a poco se está haciendo realidad, gracias a mucho esfuerzo, trabajo y dedicación personal, lo más probable es que dentro de un tiempo esta ilusión ya no sea solo un deseo y pase a formar parte de mi vida. Y aunque todavía me queda mucho camino por recorrer, cada vez me acerco más a esa meta, y eso es algo que me alegra enormemente.
Para finalizar, solo quiero desearle una muy feliz navidad a toda la comunidad de Hive Gaming, es mi primera navidad por aquí y durante todo el trayecto de este año aprendí muchas cosas, me he divertido mucho escribiendo y compartiendo mis experiencias con todos ustedes, estoy seguro que el próximo año será mucho mejor. Por otro lado, no soy muy bueno en Photoshop, pero quería que esta publicación tuviera algo especial, así que les dejo una especie de tarjeta navideña de mi parte jaja.
