RE: Ant sounds (and dances), robotic bees, and a few words about the Encarta Encyclopedia
Wow, I never knew that ants could make sounds. This makes me want to try to communicate with local ants. Do you have any idea how common the scraper is in ant species?

RE: The Quest For Boiling Peanuts - Beware Moldy, Musty Peanuts
This doesn’t look like an Aspergillus does it? That was my first fear given mold on nuts, since those fungi are so friendly they produce aflatoxins for us. I think they appear more green though.

RE: North Sea beach clean up Pt. I
Nice job, @gregan. It really surprised me that there was enough trash there to find it at a rate of ~10kg per hour. That’s quite insane.

RE: How Do Plants Move? The Sensitive Plant.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the post. They are some very fun plants to observe. I really enjoyed growing one of these last year. Sadly, I have not seen any of these in the wild.

RE: Fluorescence Microscopy: Introduction
Thanks for the well-written post, @ertwro. I’ve used some of these before, but I hadn’t known there was a GFP-superfamily of proteins. Its quite cool to think about how many organisms share GFP-like proteins,

RE: Unveiling The Device That Can Translate Over 40 Languages: {Communication Simplified}
That’s quite an interesting piece of technology, we’re one step closer to having our own babel fish. Thanks for the post @samminator. I wonder if they will be saving information from the device’s translations

Interesting and well-written post, @galotta. I have what might be a silly or ignorant question given my lack of background in physics. You mentioned that gravitational waves travel at the speed of light

This is a great idea. Hopefully we’ll see some interesting research coming from this game soon. I wonder what else we could learn in the future by using games like this. The possibilities could get really

RE: How Can Sunlight Hurt Plants?
This question depends greatly on the plant species involved and in what conditions they have been grown in. Different plant species have different abilities to acclimate to high sunlight levels which depends
