Come di consueto oggi vi porto dentro una nuova Anteprima di un articolo che fra qualche giorno o settimana vedrete Nella Mente di un SerialFiller, il mio blog interamente incentrato sul mondo delle serie tv e di cui, da qualche mese, ho deciso di regalarvi costantemente, in anticipo su quello che pubblicherò, gran parte dei post che vedrete su www.serialfiller.org.
Come vedete, ho passato in rassegna 5-6 personaggi di difficile collocazione ma impossibili da non ricordare, nonostante i pochi minuti che abbiamo trascorso con loro. Non si può dire lo stesso per i vari Galadriel, Elrond e compagnia cantante che abbiamo incontrato lungo le strade della Terra di Mezzo.
Relativamente alla storia, peggio mi sento. The Rings of Power ha dimostrato di essere piena di ridondanze, buchi ed incoerenze mentre in House of Dragon al massimo possiamo parlare di accelerazioni e qualche facile incastro di comodo durante alcune sequenze. La storia, però, ha una decisione precisa e segue gli schemi di una mitologia che abbiamo ampiamente imparato a conoscere con Game of Thrones.
Sul ritmo non voglio soffermarmi neppure un minuto in quanto appare veramente molto palese quanto scorra a velocità tripla un episodio della serie di HBOMax rispetto a quella di Amazon Prime Video.
Il finale dell'episodio che chiude la prima parte di stagione, ci suggerisce che la guerra per il trono è pronta e sta per entrare nel vivo. King Viserys crolla a terra proprio quando sua figlia unisce il suo nome, e quello della sua stirpe, a quello dei Velaryon. Sarà morto? Piomberà in una malattia terminale? Sarà stato avvelenato?
L'ennesimo matrimonio sanguinario e violento ambientato nei 7 regni, non paragonabile al Red Wedding ma, di certo, molto scioccante e determinante.

As usual, today I am bringing you inside a new Preview of an article that in a few days or weeks you will see In the Mind of a SerialFiller, my blog entirely focused on the world of TV series and of which, for the past few months, I have decided to give you constantly, in advance of what I will publish, most of the posts you will see on www.serialfiller.org.
As you can see, I have reviewed 5-6 characters that are difficult to place but impossible not to remember, despite the few minutes we spent with them. The same cannot be said for the various Galadriel, Elrond and singing company we encountered along the roads of Middle-earth.
Relative to the story, worse I feel. The Rings of Power has proven to be full of redundancies, holes and inconsistencies while in House of Dragon at best we can talk about accelerations and some easy jams of convenience during some sequences. The story, however, has a definite decision and follows the patterns of a mythology that we have amply learned about with Game of Thrones.
On the pacing I do not want to dwell even for a minute as it really seems very blatant how much an episode of HBOMax's series flows at triple the speed of Amazon Prime Video's.
The finale of the episode that closes the first part of the season, suggests to us that the war for the throne is ready and about to get into full swing. King Viserys collapses to the ground just as his daughter joins his name, and that of his lineage, to that of the Velaryons. Will he be dead? Will he fall into a terminal illness? Will he have been poisoned?
Yet another bloody and violent wedding set in the 7 kingdoms, not comparable to the Red Wedding but, certainly, very shocking and decisive.
So much for the elves, dwarves, and pelopes.
