Snacks before drinks

Me and Stefi were about to hit the pub but she just finished a long shift at work and wanted to grab a snack before have anything to drink.

The only problem is that when we got to the Pub it was so late already that the Kitchen was closed.

Also it was very busy everywhere because it was a Friday night in Soho. But we saw Franco Manca across the street and we decided to try and give it a go. It was really full but the atmosphere was pretty cool and we were lucky to be able to get a table.

I was not too hungry, so we have decided to order 1 pizza and 1 starter all together and share it, since she was going to also have deserte and she said that would be filling for her as well.

You know I had to have a glass of wine. But as soon as I tasted I remembered that I have had it the last time I visited them and I hated it. It is a very dry wine.

She was kind to have vegetarian food and we ordered a pizza with a tomato sauce base, cheese, pesto, potato and dry roasted tomatoes. Also we ordered a cibatta bread with arrucula and mozzarella cheese.

After a couple of bites I was feeling full already, because I was not too hungry to start.

Sweet time

For dessert Stefi had the tiramisu, one of her favourites and she was not impressed with it. She said it was nice but not amazing.

In all honesty the staff were very nice and when we ordered they were already closing. But they still served it and they didn't even charge it.

So we have decided to leave more cash on top of the service charge as a tip. They were very nice and kind.

I have visited a couple of different branchs of Franco Manca and I had low expectations about this one, because of it's location and specially because it was a Friday night. In fact they were my favourite ones so far. Expectations exceeded. Well done.
