Idle Foundry just dropped CA-72, a free synth modeled on the early-70s Minimoog Model D — right down to the CA3046 oscillator board, transcribed from the original service docs and simulated in ngspice. It's fully open-source (GPL-3.0), does 2-10 voice polyphony with per-voice drift and stereo spread, and comes with 24 factory presets covering basses, leads, pads, and percussion. Runs as VST3 and CLAP on macOS, Windows, and Linux, plus AU on Mac.
