Hola amigos || Hello friends
Es un honor estar de vuelta en otro TTT el cual sin duda se ha convertido en un espacio de música y recuerdos. Hoy me recordé de una de las bandas que más sonó en mi adolescencia y el recuerdo viene justo porque hoy salió una conversación con un amigo sobre los videos locos de la banda, la producción audiovisual que posee Rammstein en cada uno de sus videos es INCREIBLES y es un trabajo que, sin duda, hoy le podríamos rendirle un pequeño tributo a esta banda que marcó por completo mi adolescencia y cuyas canciones aún hoy ocupan un lugar en mis listas de reproducción.
It’s an honor to be back for another TTT, which has undoubtedly become a space for music and memories. Today I thought about one of the bands I listened to the most during my teenage years, and the memory came up precisely because I had a conversation with a friend today about the band’s crazy videos the audiovisual production in each of Rammstein’s videos is INCREDIBLE, and it’s a body of work that, without a doubt, today we could pay a small tribute to this band that completely defined my teenage years and whose songs still hold a place on my playlists.
Como no recordar esas noches de casa en compañía de amigos disfrutando y discutiendo la música de la banda y encantados por sus videos porque seamos sinceros, para un chamo que buscaba algo que se saliera de común ver a estos alemanes no era simplemente escuchar metal industrial era más bien presenciar cortometrajes oscuros, teatrales, perturbadores pero hermosos a su vez. La verdad es que no importaba que las letras fueran en alemán y que muchas veces no entendiera una sola palabra porque la potencia de su arte traspasaba cualquier idioma. He aquí lo que dicen, no importa el idioma en que escuches la música, lo que importa es que ella sepa llegar a ti de una manera contundente.
How could I forget those nights at home with friends, enjoying and discussing the band’s music and captivated by their videos? Because, let’s be honest, for a kid looking for something out of the ordinary, watching these Germans wasn’t just about listening to industrial metal it was more like witnessing dark, theatrical, unsettling, yet beautiful short films. The truth is, it didn’t matter that the lyrics were in German and that I often didn’t understand a single word because the power of their art transcended any language. As they say, it doesn’t matter what language the music is in; what matters is that it knows how to reach you in a powerful way.
En medio de la conversación recordamos cuando bajaban los vecinos a tocar la puerta para que bajáramos un poco el volumen y como bueno samaritanos, hacíamos caso. El problema es que después de unos 10 minutos nos olvidamos de la llamada de atención y creo que el volumen se aumentaba algo más ja ja ja… Si se preguntan dónde estaban mis padres, no soy tan loco, esas noches en mi casa era justo cuando mis padres se encontraban de viaje aunque en ocasiones igual me tocaba mi regaño el día después pues igual se enteraban por los mismos vecinos ja ja ja…. No entendían la vibra del momento ja ja ja…
In the middle of the conversation, we reminisced about when the neighbors would come down to knock on the door and ask us to turn the volume down a bit, and like good Samaritans, we’d listen. The problem is that after about 10 minutes, we’d forget about their reminder, and I think we’d actually turn the volume up a little more, ha ha ha… If you’re wondering where my parents were I’m not that crazy those nights at my house were exactly when my parents were away on a trip, although sometimes I’d still get an earful the next day because they’d find out from the neighbors anyway, ha ha ha… They just didn’t get the vibe of the moment, ha ha ha…
Para celebrar esa devoción por Rammstein y homenajear también a los vecinos fuera de onda ja ja ja… Armé este recorrido 3 videoclips el cual por un momento la lista superó las 5 canciones pero ok, eran muchas ja ja ja… Así que me decidí por estos. Espero que para quienes son o fueron fanáticos de la banda esta selección sea digna de él o ella. Por último, ¡súbele al volumen! No importa, quizás el vecino le puede gustar escuchar la voz de Lindemann.
To celebrate that devotion to Rammstein and also pay tribute to the neighbors who are out of touch, ha ha ha… I put together this playlist of 3 music videos at one point the list had more than 5 songs, but okay, that was too many, ha ha ha… So I settled on these. I hope that for those who are or were fans of the band, this selection does them justice. Finally, turn up the volume! It doesn’t Matter, maybe your neighbor might actually enjoy hearing Lindemann’s voice.
