Saludos mis muy apreciados lectores, tuve algo de bloqueo creativo, pero aquí estamos una vez más al concurso semana 187 de splinterlands!. en esta oportunidad les traigo a Beatrix Ironhand, tal vez ya lo notaron, pero estoy haciendo mucho más uso de las texturas, creo que se ven muy geniales!, espero sea de su agrado, sin más que decir empecemos.

the first part was more detailed but unfortunately I lost a couple of screenshots, I realized it a little late.

Lineart
For the lineart I used the usual brush, only a bit smaller, also the stabilizer at maximum, although in other areas I used to vary it.
Para el lineart use el pincel de costumbre, solo que un poco más pequeño. también el estabilizador al máximo, aunque en otras zonas solia variar
The reason for such a thin lineart is to be able to give it more thickness in certain areas, and in others to eliminate it at the end of the drawing.
El motivo de un lineart tan delgado es poder darle más grosor en ciertas zonas, y en otras eliminarlo al final del dibujo.
This little detail took me some time, but I think it was worth it.

The base color of the garment has texture

This was my color palette, I was modifying it according to what I needed, for hair I had 3 shades in mind but I ended up using more variety.

I apply a layer leaving these areas without coloring, later I will draw the hair with a different brush to achieve another effect.
Aplico una capa dejando estas zonas sin colorear, mas adelante dibujare el cabello con otro pincel diferente para lograr otro efecto.
I start with the shadows, over another layer and the same texture effect.
Empiezo con las sombras, sobre otra capa y el mismo efecto de textura
I try to give logic to the direction of the light, the drawing has 2 sources the moon and another one that is not seen but that has greater reach in the drawing.
trato de darle logica a la direccion de la luz, el dibujo tiene 2 fuentes la luna y otra que no se ve pero que tiene mayor alcance en el dibujo
I was going to use this texture but in the end I decided for something more modest.
Iba a usar esta textura pero al final me decidi por algo mas modesto
Now that I think about it I gave a lot of attention and details to the kunai, in the final version you can see it well if you zoom in.
Ahora que lo pienso le di mucha atencion y detalles al kunai, en la version final se puede ver bien si acercas la imagen
these small shadows give some volume to the bandages, they also reinforce the lines of the lineart.
estas pequeñas sombras le dan algo de volume a las vendas, tambien refuerzan las lineas del lineart.
At this point I decided to retouch a little the lines, on the lineart layer and with the option "crop in group" I can modify the color in certain areas of the line.
En este punto decidí retocar un poco las lineas, sobre la capa lineart y con la opción " recortar en grupo" puedo modificar el color en ciertas zonas de la linea.
The eye has 2 very subtle shades
El ojo tiene 2 tonos muy sutiles
The remaining parts of the hair are finished with a water-based brush to give this effect.
Las partes que faltan del cabello las termine con un pincel al agua para darle este efecto

The hair was my favorite part of the drawing, I got the effect I was looking for by using a base color and then a water based brush.

I didn't want to make such a detailed background so as not to detract attention from the main character, yet it still has a couple of hidden references.
No quise hacer un fondo tan detallado para no restarle atención al personaje principal, aún así tiene un par de referencias ocultas
I always wanted to include them in a drawing, this would be a subtle way of referring to them.
Siempre quise incluirlos en un dibujo, esta seria una forma sutil de hacerles referencia

I hope you liked it there, I tried to apply everything I learned so far, also to give it a little more movement and vary the poses, I have several ideas for this character in the future.
