Hollywood Troubles and My Actifit Report Card: February 27 2026
Holy crap... what a day!
6:30 in the morning, time to work. What was supposed to be a short and easy day turned out to be a nightmare!
5 guys, a bunch of equipment to break down, pack in a truck that needs to go to set ASAP and then pick up 100 dura-decks. They get loaded 25 at a time on a pallet, then brought over to an area large enough for a truck from the rental company to pick them up.
Sounds easy right? Well it was supposed to be... the whole thing shouldn't have taken more than 3 hours. But the tele-handler got stuck in the melting snow, dug itself deeper every time we tried to rescue it.
It became such a mess, the more we tried, the worst it got!!!
Eventually the tow truck needed to be called, there was no way around it anymore. It cost the company $1000 for that... but hey that's Hollywood for ya. Things go array all the time.
A lot of steps today, that's for sure!
