So here is a good personalized recommended skin care routine in general but more specifically for a breakout.
The first important recommended action is to cut out CARBONATED DRINKS & SWEETS. This will help with reduction in acne.
Avoid this!!
The second important recommended action is to drink lots of WATER. This will reduce the fatigue and make you feel more energetic significantly. Water is your best friend.

Tip: After using the Neutrogena face wash, use African black soap.
Tip: Always close your pores with cold water! Always! After having a shower or after rinsing your face. You can have a shower with lukewarm water and finish off with cold water. It is recommended to rub ice cubes on the affected area, especially before going to bed.
These next 3 tips also work very well on acne scars. Wash your face twice daily. When you wake up and when you go to bed.
Tip: This is a big key EXFOLIATING! Exfoliating is really good for the skin. It is recommended that you use an electric face brush for better results, it is better than using your unsanitary hands.

Tip: For Pitted scars (enlarged pores) you will need 2 ingredients. These are: Vitamin C powder with a very high purity and Distilled water.
Make a Vitamin C toner with the distilled water and let it dry completely on your face.
Recommended vitamin c powder purity of 97%+
Tip: Top it off with rose hip seed oil directly after. Saturate your whole face with it. It'll all absorb. It also calms down your acne.
Tip: For smile lines and crows feet. Rose water! Awesome product.
Tip: Face masks help to regulate blood flow which can help to speed up the healing process (with acne scars).
Tip: If you wear makeup, you MUST MUST tone after. You have no idea how much gunk is left over on your face.
Also, for the people that wear makeup you should wash your brushes FREQUENTLY!
Tip: If you have oily skin, use Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing GEL.
Tip: Doesn't matter what skin color you are. You STILL need to use sunblock! UV rays can worsen and darken acne scars (dark marks), ESPECIALLY after exfoliation.
This is helpful for everyone, especially the ladies!
Note: This will be helpful and will see a significant improvement if you follow all the steps but it is not guaranteed.
