Mitsuha Miyamizu, a high school girl, yearns to live the life of a boy in the bustling city of Tokyo—a dream that stands in stark contrast to her present life in the countryside. Meanwhile in the city, Taki Tachibana lives a busy life as a high school student while juggling his part-time job and hopes for a future in architecture.
One day, Mitsuha awakens in a room that is not her own and suddenly finds herself living the dream life in Tokyo—but in Taki's body! Elsewhere, Taki finds himself living Mitsuha's life in the humble countryside. In pursuit of an answer to this strange phenomenon, they begin to search for one another.
Kimi no Na wa. revolves around Mitsuha and Taki's actions, which begin to have a dramatic impact on each other's lives, weaving them into a fabric held together by fate and circumstance.
mitsuha is a regular high school girl. she is a cheerful and her smile is very sweet. one night he dreams her soul enters the body of a man in the city and it confuses her , but she instead has fun in a place he has never been to before.
The main male character of the film, a high school student who lives in downtown Tokyo, precisely in Shinjuku. He lives with his father in a house where they can see the Tokyo Tower directly. Everyday he gathered with his friends and worked part-time at an Italian restaurant called "Il Giardino Delle Parole". He is short tempered, but has good intentions and is also friendly. this anime I highly recommend for people who love romance and scane stories that are touching and also teach us to never give up even though only have the possibility of 0.000001%, you try to imagine how persistent taki struggle to meet mitsuha even though they are separated by space and time .
there is also a very touching scan where mitsuha met with taki in the valley and warned mitsuha that villagers as soon as possible in the evacuation because there are meteors that will hit the village.
I am very sad when taki and mitsuha forget each other because they are separated by space and time ...
but their strong feelings make them meet again in the future ...
