🎵 Sufjan Stevens — Should Have Known Better

Sufjan’s songs all ring with a specific variety of nostalgia. If you’ve never enjoyed sad songs, I think he’s a great place to start. They’re not all sad on the surface but they are never in denial.
For me, it’s the perfect music for discovering emotions I didn’t know I was carrying and processing them, or for finding joy that lives simultaneously alongside sadness.
