This is really cool, I enjoy this way of applying ancient teachings to modern day life.

I’ve met a few brilliant teachers in my life and they were imperfect people but the one thing that made them stand apart was that they could actually look directly at things as they are rather than interpreting what they saw with their eyes through words they read in books. That’s what I get from that passage, not that I am familiar with it.

Anyway This is the way I aspire to be.
