been around since 2017. Became a true believer during the fork. I was shocked to see that not only did we survive the fork, the community fixed a lot of steems old problems and we couldn’t function with decentralized leadership.

As far as I’m concerned Hive is more like Bitcoin or the founding of a nation than a mere cryptocurrency. There is no way you could replicate Hive because it happened by accident. And the success or failure of hive is up to the people that populate it.

From my understanding Leo’s values align well with Hive and Khal may be carrying the fort now but he wasn’t always and he won’t always, other people step up when they are ready and when the situation calls for it.

I think thanks to Leo we can repopulate hive with new projects that have long term sustainability more thought out than some previous projects.
