I’m sympathetic to people are scared that free speech will lead to hate and hate crimes…but more control doesn’t seem to be helping, and I don’t want the state to dictate what I can say under any circumstance.

Maybe if enough of us tried to make peace across the political aisle or ideological lines, politicians wouldn’t be able to get away with this shit. I feel that happening around me. There are many places I avoid now because I feel people are unwilling, but I do think more and more people are waking up, and that doesn’t mean to an ideology, just to the fact that we are being herded to behave this way and how to make it better.
