I think this is pretty much spot on!
It’s true that multi effects pedals are best for beginners but they also work for intermediate and advanced if effect tones aren’t your priority and they don’t have to be the priority for even an advanced guitarist.
I don’t even see myself as a guitarist as much as an artist, and right now I’m trying to use a loop pedal to become a one man band so tone is not where my head is at. Maybe once I’ve become a one man band and have a lot more experience with electricity as it’s completely new to me.
Even an expert classical wood guitar player likely has no idea about the tone difference between analog and digital, right?
