So when you walk in obedience, something I never thought that I would ever do, leaving a career, I had my whole life mapped out, or so I thought, and then God shows up. And it's like, that's what, need you to leave your job, need you to go in a completely different sphere, basically into media from government, because this is where I need you, speaking, the number one thing I feared the most. But because of God and walking in obedience, I couldn't say no.
And so that's what ultimately launched me into a completely different path. But one, as I said earlier, I certainly don't regret. And yeah, and ultimately, it was a great gift to me too, because now I get to spend a lot more time with my kids, which I wasn't able to do before working 50 hours a week.
So God has a way of working all things out for good, but you have to take that leap, and you have to walk in obedience. And sometimes you're not going to like what's asked of you, and that's okay. But he is going to give you the strength and equip you during those times with what you need, even if it's taking your fear away in the moment so that you can speak without shaking.
And he does it. He shows up every single time. Hey, Janice, I just wanted to say a scripture came into my mind when you said you had these plans, but it didn't work out that way.
The scripture that came was a woman, I'm substituting woman, a woman makes her plans, but God directs her path. Yes. Amen.
That's absolutely correct. Yes. All right.

It's just wonderful. I am a homeschool mom of 31 years for six kids that have all gone out into the adult world. And when you're saying that about, you know, finding that time to, well, first of all, to be still, that was one of the hardest things during those homeschoolers, because there were so many of them and so few of me.
