If someone had told me more than seven years ago that this contest would be active for so long, I probably wouldn't have believed them.
The Shadow Hunters Contest on the Hive Blockchain is one of the oldest, having run for 7 years and 8 months, and consistently rewarding outstanding entries.
If that's not a matter of trust, then what is it?
This is not a photography contest in the true sense of the word; we are not looking for technical perfection, the right contrast, colors, or lighting. You don't even need a camera; after all, we all have smartphones today.
Just a unique and interesting shadow at a given moment.
400 weekly contests - an average of 12 photos of shadows per day, between 80 and 90 pictures per week. Just manually curating them requires a lot of effort and coordination, and it would not be possible without the selfless work of a few individuals who have been working hard since the beginning.
