My first collage in the 222 series. Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 222 - ✨100 HIVE in the Prize Pool!
They say cats have nine lives. Or seven, in Arab mythology. When I embarked on the collage, I had a different vision. But as the creative process unfolded, the cats emerged as the unexpected victors of all my ideas. The fate of the blind mice remains a mystery.
The collage is not burdened with any particular message, so there's no need to overthink it. It's all about the fun. I created it while experimenting with various techniques and effects in photo processing, which I plan to use in the future.

The creation process
I created the collage using Photoshop.
I first created a background from the base image, then duplicated it and created a kaleidoscope in Paint.Net.
In the base image, I applied a pinch filter to the green areas, cut out the sky and clouds, and replaced them with a kaleidoscope.
Next, I processed and modified all the other objects with Photoshop filters - liquify, sphere, and twirl.
Finally, I added all the processed elements in layers to the background.
