Green is the color this week in the Photo Essay community. So, let's discuss green. :)
First of all, I can say that it is the color I am surrounded by for at least half of the year, so in spring and summer when everything is green, and also for a while in autumn until the colors in nature turn brown. I have quite a few photos in the green "mood", from fresh to a bit older, all about my life, some I have used, some I haven't.
You know, we who are more amateur photographers take a couple of dozen shots with our phone for each scene and then decide what is to be published and what is not. But the archive of photos remains.

To start with, a photo of the arches in the lake in the park, they have just started to bloom.

A hedge is a detail I took when I needed some kind of plant background for collages.

Reeds on the island of Pag, where we go on holiday. That's a photo from two years ago, in June the reeds are still green. Later, at the end of August and September, it dries up.

Photo from Rome, I was fascinated by the hanging ivy growing right across the street. And a great pasta in the tavern :)

A tree full of figs, in my mother's garden. They are early, and they usually all fall over. This year they are exceptionally abundant, perhaps they will withstand this daily rain.

Last year's chilies. They are still green. They turn red when ripe. Medium hot, Rocoto (Capsicum pubescens). I made a sauce with them last year. Very hot. If anyone wants the recipe is here.

This year's green asparagus. The first ones appeared in April and we are still picking them now, half a kilo every few days. A very tasty and healthy spring vegetable, one of my recipes.
