Iβve been pretty busy over the past two weeks with the 60th anniversary of the MKNΕ½ club, which is why I havenβt been posting here as much.
To start from the beginning, MKNΕ½ stands for Mladinski Klub Nade Ε½agar, a rock club where I shoot my live music videos more or less regularly. Iβve been organizing the archive of all the recordingsβover 600 of them from the past thirty-plus yearsβand, during the celebration, I also captured live performances. Over the course of a week, sixteen bands of all genres performedβfrom all corners of the world, including some local Slovenian acts, as well as bands from France, Canada, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, and even Taiwan.
The event also featured a childrenβs program, two theater performances, new documentaries on local themes, the release of a compilation album (a triple LP featuring bands from MKNΕ½), exhibitions of photos and posters from over the years, and an art exhibition by painters - club members.
Well, now that itβs finally all over, phew, it really was exhausting :) Iβm presenting this art exhibition of paintings.
I wonβt name the artists, since the exhibition is essentially a collective effort (though if anyone is particularly interested in a piece, Iβd be happy to provide the artistsβ details).
