Another Splinterlands season is over and I am reviewing my performance in this season to see how the game is evolving and if I need to do any adjustments to my strategy.
Lets take a look at the big picture of SPS Earnings. Here is where I my total SPS earnings stand:
I am looking at the last twelve seasons since SPS validators have launched. As you can see the SPS earnings in general are in decline. It is getting harder and harder to earn SPS and that is despite my constantly increasing staked SPS.
Now lets take a look at my Wild and Brawl SPS earnings over the last ten season. There might be a slight decline, particularly in brawl SPS earnings but not major decline overall, though last season my Wild league SPS earnings are definitely sloping down. That big dip in season 163 should not be counted as that was my experimental season where I played only in Modern league.
Let's take a look at my performance in Wild League. It definitely seems that it is getting harder to battle in Wild League, my end rating and end league seems to be going lower:
In his recent video Aftersound also mentioned that Wild is getting harder, I definitely agree with that assessment.
As you can see I have played in Modern and Wild leagues during this last season, but earnings definitely seemed much better in Wild, so I have only played 27 battles in Modern and my win rate was terrible at 25.93%
Wild is also showing that it is harder than usual as my win rate in Wild dropped below fifty percent. I was unable to attain Champion Two during this past season.

The stats show that last season was unusually difficult. Either weaker players are starting to drop out of Wild or players are improving their decks and it is becoming more and more competitive.

Take a look at the table above and now compare to the previous season:
What we see here is a drop across all SPS earning categories, what is interesting is that my staking rewards are now greater than my wild ranking rewards and that is the first time this has happened. Though if you add Wild and Modern ranking rewards they would come out a few SPS ahead of my staking rewards.

As you can see I have stopped buying Legendary Reward draws even though my legendary reward cards are not maxed out yet. I am trying to save up Glint tokens for the new reward card set that is set to come out very soon.

I did earn some legendary reward cards which I am very happy about.
As you can see I made just once advancement so the amount of reward chests earned for league advancement is not very substantial...
Once again nothing special in these chests, though I wouldn't expect much as I got very few chests this time.

I did managed to earn a legendary in the league reward chests, so that is very nice :)
Tough season for me, but I still made progress with my reward cards and earned good amount of SPS, hoping to earn more SPS in this current season. Will keep on stacking.
